Invisible Attributes Are Seen

By Bill Cearbaugh

When ever I am around nature, I am so reminded of the intricate details it takes to make it.  I enjoy the bio sciences, I know that these structures are extremely complicated.  Yet in spite of this, many take these “intricacies” for granted and do not believe that our God had to create and organize them and that through them He manifests Himself.

It amazes me that a philosophical world that believes in Darwinism could possibly embrace that our world "just happened", when it is so delicate and complicated.  Darwinism is built around the the theory of evolving into something.  Yet, if you look at creation, you will always see what evolves degenerates, not improves itself in any way.  In spite of this, many still are not able to look at such beauty and see God's hand artistically "painting" trees in their place or putting a body of water here and a mountain there.

This is done with mostly a dotting effect from a software package, then the water was hand touched up and a verse added lastly.

I love the above passage in the Phillips translation...."Now Christ is the visible expression of the invisible God. He existed before creation began, for it was through him that everything was made, whether spiritual or material, seen or unseen. Through him, and for him, also, were created power and dominion, ownership and authority. In fact, every single thing was created through, and for him. He is both the first principle and the upholding principle of the whole scheme of creation. And now he is the head of the body which is composed of all Christian people. Life from nothing began through him, and life from the dead began through him, and he is, therefore, justly called the Lord of all. It was in him that the full nature of God chose to live, and through him God planned to reconcile in his own person, as it were, everything on earth and everything in Heaven by virtue of the sacrifice of the cross."

Blessings!
